The “Insole/Orthotics”, pressure off loading, forms the major criteria for a diabetic footwear, along with proper soles and adjustable straps with velcros and special lining for “0” days break in period.
Like all our products, the range of “DIAKOOL”; & “DIAFLEX” have multi-layered Insoles.
· The first layer consists of Plastazote ™ , devoid of any potentially hazardous and potentially harmful substances like Acetophenone, Methyl Styrene, Semicarbizide, normally found in competitors materials.
Plastazote ™ have for several decades provided Comfort, Support and a Safe Healing environment for patients with podietary complaints.
As per ISO 10993: Plastazote™ has excelled in Part 5; Part 10; & Part 18 conforming to Tests for In-Vitro Cytoxicity, Tests for Irritation and Delayed-type Hypersensitivity, Chemical Characterization of Materials, and is fully biocompatible.
· The second layer is of XL-EVA which is again Pressure Off- loading , durable and light weight and is used round the world for orthopedic and diabetic footwear.
· The last layer is of CLP- CAPCELL which is again an excellent pressure off-loading and light weight material .
